Poppy Van Praagh is a Series / Senior producer and director of documentary, factual entertainment, reality, drama and commercial, for both broadcast and online.

 

Experienced in taking projects from the creative development, right through to delivery - building brand new formats and series structure, leading the visual and editorial direction, finding and building story, producing tasks and challenges through the creative and the mechanics, casting talent and contributors, and directing cast and crew. 

 

Poppy manages teams and budgets of all sizes, working across forward planning, logistics and budgets, setting up shoots internationally, directing set builds and props, sourcing and licensing archive and music, producing on the ground or in gallery, and leading the edit.

Poppys expertise are beyond conventional production - not only working across story but navigating legal and compliance heavy narratives,  with a keen understanding of investigative journalism, the criminal justice system, human rights and current affairs - all of which have influenced her approach to storytelling.
